František Hudeček (April 7, 1909, Němčice – May 13, 1990, Prague) was a Czech graphic artist, illustrator, and painter, and a member of Group 42. He graduated from the School of Applied Arts in Prague and collaborated with E. F. Burian’s theater in the 1930s. In the 1940s, he created the famous figure of the Night Walker in numerous pictorial variations and using various techniques.
